Dahab Faid Tinga, popularly known as Dahab Faytinga or simply Faytinga, is an Eritrean singer, krar player, dancer, and activist. With a background in the Kunama tribe, Faytinga joined the liberation struggle at a young age, using her music to inspire and uplift. She combines traditional Eritrean rhythms with contemporary sounds, often performing with the krar, a small lyre. Faytinga's albums, including "Numey" and "Eritrea," reflect her passion for social and political issues. As an advocate for human rights, she has represented Eritrea globally and participated in events supporting HIV and AIDS awareness. Faytinga's music embodies a message of peace, love, and unity, offering hope to her audience.
