Felix Wazekwa is a versatile Congolese artist, singer, songwriter, and dancer. He embarked on his artistic journey in the early '80s as a member of the music group Kin-Verso. Following his European studies, he returned to Congo in 1990, evolving into a skilled lyricist and collaborating with fellow musicians. In 1995, he introduced his debut album, "Tetragramme, YHWH," and in 1999, he made a significant move by establishing his own band, The Cultur'a pays vie. This marked a pivotal moment in Wazekwa's career, solidifying his presence in the dynamic Congolese music scene, where he consistently delivered captivating tracks. His enduring influence and versatility as a performer and creative force remain an indelible mark on the African music landscape.

Boziana has been part of several major soukous bands, including Orchestre Bamboula, Zaiko Langa Langa, and Choc Stars, a band with which he recorded some of his most famous songs like Sandu Kotti, Alena, Mbuta-Mutu, and Retrouvailles a Paris. In the mid-1980s, Bozi Boziana left Zaiko Langa Langa to form his band, Orchestre Anti-Choc. He has collaborated with several renowned musicians and also released some solo works. Bozi Boziana's influence on soukous music continues to be felt, and his music remains cherished by fans across the globe.

He was known as "Poet" due to his composition of the band's hit song "Mabele." Simaro was jailed by DRC authorities in the late 1970s for two obscene songs. Nevertheless, he was considered as one of the greatest poets, singers, and philosophers of Congolese music. Simaro passed away on March 30, 2019.
