Bio
With a knack for innovative beats and unforgettable performances, Felo Le Tee has become one of South Africa’s leading figures in Amapiano. He began exploring music at 14, experimenting with cassettes before moving to vinyl and digital DJing. His stage name pays tribute to family: “Felo” comes from the last letters of Tsholofelo, and “Le Tee” honors his grandmother, Lettie. Early in his career, he produced Afro-house tracks under international labels like Nylon Trax before relocating to Pretoria and helping pioneer the “Sgija” sub-genre within Amapiano. Felo has collaborated with several A-list South African Amapiano pioneers. His breakthrough came in 2020 with production on DBN Gogo’s "Thokoza Café," and hits like “66” guided his influence. He has earned accolades including a SAMA nomination for Best Produced Album (2023) and expanded internationally through a 2024 partnership with Relentless Records in the UK. Beyond music, he curates festivals including Felo’s Fun House and Sucasa.
