Fik Fameica is a Ugandan rapper and songwriter known for blending hip-hop with Afropop, Afrobeats and dancehall. He began his professional career in 2015 with “Pistol” and gained wider recognition through songs such as “Byenyenya” and “Kutama.” His breakthrough continued with “Mafia,” “Property,” “Sconto” and “Tonsukuma,” establishing him as a prominent voice in Uganda’s rap scene. His 2018 project, “My Journey,” showcased his versatility and growing musical range.
Fameica has collaborated with artists including Patoranking, Rayvanny, Sheebah, Vinka, Jux and Marioo, expanding his reach across Africa. He has earned several accolades, including Zzina Awards, Buzz Teeniez Awards and HiPipo Music Awards, and was named Most Stylish Male Artiste of the Year at the 2019 Abryanz Style and Fashion Awards.
He founded Fresh Gang Records in 2019, expanding his role into music entrepreneurship, and continues to contribute to Uganda’s evolving hip-hop landscape through his music and collaborations.
