Bio
Fireman Kakokolo, born George Luze Nsemere, is a Ugandan Afro-dancehall singer whose career has burned brightly for over two decades. He rose to prominence in the early 2000s when Bwana Bwenkoko gained radio play, earning recognition as a fresh and energetic voice in Uganda’s dancehall space. Based in Kampala, Fireman built his reputation by fusing Afro-inspired rhythms with the drive of dancehall, crafting songs that carry playful yet relatable themes. His music, alive both on stage and on air, continues to connect easily with audiences. In 2021, he released Queen Mother, a 7-track album featuring Sign, 3 Meter, Obwana Bwenkoko, Amina, Hajjati, Musekuzo, and the title track. In 2024, his feature on Bitte by Delete On Da Beat further cemented his relevance. With steady performances and an active online presence, Fireman remains one of Uganda’s enduring Afro-dancehall voices, blending creativity, persistence, and stage energy.
