Born in one of the suburbs of Abidjan, Cote d'Ivoire, Florent Belemgnegré moved when he was five years old to live with his grandmother, a griot, in Burkina Faso. Florent Belemgnegré, whose stage name is Floby, has over ten releases to his credit which five of them are albums. He is also won several awards -- Kundé and a Golden Kundé.
