Foligni Kéïta is a Malian musician, singer and balafon player. He is a master of the balafon, a traditional wooden xylophone-like instrument that is played with small mallets. He is known for his ability to infuse traditional balafon rhythms with contemporary elements, and for his innovative approach to playing the instrument. He has released several albums as a solo artist and has also collaborated with other musicians and bands from Mali and West Africa.
