Bio
Fred Sseremba (born August 11, 1978, Uganda) is an Afrobeat singer-songwriter whose music draws deeply from traditional Ugandan motifs and modern rhythmic patterns. Best known for his 2016 album Kyuusa Enamba, Fred delivers stand-out tracks like “Lwaki Omuliba,” “Kujagaana,” “Ssebadduka Junior,” “Va Mukwerumya,” and “Balina Enkwe.” Active since at least 2011, Fred’s work includes emotive singles like “Siyenkomelero” and “Neyanzizza.” He’s credited both as performer and songwriter, most notably on “Lwaki Omuliba,” where his authorship is explicitly listed. Though he maintains a low public profile, his artistry extends to collaborations, including the 2021 Muzei Tute (Kiri Bubi) EP as part of a Ugandan All-Stars lineup.
