Afi La Princesse was born in Kinshasa in 1959. She was the first female vocalist of singer Bozi Boziana's Anti Choc band. She released her only album, "N'Gothias N'Gothias", in 1986. Afi's music blended traditional Congolese rhythms with soukous, funk, and soul.
