Gaz Mawete, born Gael Kapia Mawete, is a multi-talented singer-songwriter and dancer from Congo. He rose to fame after he contested in the prestigious Congolese music competition, Vodacom Superstar. In 2018, Gaz Mawete released his single "Paulina," which quickly became a massive hit, gaining popularity not only in his home country but also across Africa and beyond. Since then, Gaz has continued to make waves in the music scene, releasing a series of successful singles, including "Oligi nini," "Antidote," and "Ngebe", which garnered millions of views on YouTube. He has earned several accolades, including a nomination for Best Francophone Act at the MTV Africa Music Awards. With his talent and magnetic stage presence, Gaz Mawete continues to make waves in the music industry.
