Bio
General Pype, born Olayiwola Majekodunmi, is a Nigerian reggae/dancehall performer who began his music career in the 90s while still in school. He established himself as an artist by 2005 and has since been recognized with numerous honors. Pype's musical influences include Fela Anikulapo Kuti, Barry White, and Bob Marley. He left Storm 360 Records to create his own record label, Obalende Records. Pype has been dubbed the "song stylist" for his contagious enthusiasm on more than 120 collaborations.
