George Zirro Harrison was a Kenyan musician and guitarist, best known as a member of the East African band, Them Mushrooms. Born in the 1960s, Harrison developed a passion for music early in life and was influenced by both traditional African rhythms and Western pop and rock music. In the early 1980s, he joined Them Mushrooms and quickly became an integral part of the band's unique blend of traditional African music and modern pop and rock. He contributed to the success of many of the band's most popular songs. Harrison left the band in 1993 to pursue a solo career but sadly, passed away in 2015 just before the band planning a comeback.
