Hanitra, whose real name is Rasoanaivo Hanitrarivo, is a Malagasy artiste, art activist, songwriter, dancer, jewelry designer, and the co-leader of Tarika, a quintet music group from Madagascar. According to her LinkedIn page, Hanitra is a professional artist who uses arts and culture as a vehicle to celebrate biodiversity, protect environment and develop sustainable means of existence for people who live in remote villages of her country. She is also the artistic director and founder of Antshow Madagascar Arts and Cultural Centre.
