Haruna Ishola Bello, also known as Haruna Ishola, was a renowned Yoruba musician and father of Apala music in Nigeria. His debut album, "Late Oba Adeboye (The Orimolusi Of Ijebu-Igbo)," which was initially a commercial failure, marked the beginning of Ishola's musical career in 1948. Yet, he developed a reputation as the most sought-after entertainer for parties among Nigeria's wealthy elite due to his constant touring. Ishola produced several hit songs that made him become well-known and earn him honors.
