His musical journey began at a young age when he began singing and playing guitars and drums crafted from tins and strings. His music predominantly featured the Dholuo language, often fusing Luo and Congolese musical styles. In 1988, Musa Juma embarked on his musical career, initially joining the Solar Africa Band as a lead guitarist, singer, and composer. Alongside his brother Omondi Tony, he co-founded Orchestra Limpopo International in 1990 before eventually pursuing a solo career. Musa Juma achieved remarkable success in his music, touring various countries and releasing eight notable albums that marked a stellar career in the music industry.

Beyond his solo career, Biggy gained further stardom by establishing the renowned Kenyan band Super Heka Heka. At the time of his death on December 18, 1997, he and his Super Heka Heka Band had amassed an impressive discography of five albums.
