Ibrahim Buyondo is a Ugandan teacher, musician, and community advocate. Raised by his grandmother while his parents studied in Kenya, he completed primary education at Nkokonjeru Demonstration School (1995) and later attended St. Elizabeth Secondary School before earning a teaching certificate at Kibuli Primary Teachers’ College.
Since 2003, Buyondo has taught at Ssekiboobo Primary School in Mukono District. In 2009, he formed a singing group composed of underprivileged students, channeling performance earnings into scholarships, school materials, and savings accounts for their futures. His social commitment earned recognition from the Uganda National Teachers Union in 2008 for excellence in education.
Musically, Ibrahim made his first recording in 2009 and has since released Amalindirizi (2024), an album of six tracks including “Nazerida,” “Asaabaliriza,” and the title song Amalindirizi.
