Puseletso has left an imprint in the male dominated famo scene after she performed in memory of a late sibling.

Denise Kusala Yondo, known as Yondo Sister, was born on April 23, 1958, in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. She's a celebrated Congolese singer, author, composer, and lyricist, famed for her association with soukous music and the kwassa kwassa dance. Born in Bukavu to a musical family with a Congolese father and Belgian-Congolese mother, Yondo Sister is often dubbed "the queen of soukous" or "the queen of rumba." He was known as "Poet" due to his composition of the band's hit song "Mabele." Simaro was jailed by DRC authorities in the late 1970s for two obscene songs. Nevertheless, he was considered as one of the greatest poets, singers, and philosophers of Congolese music. Simaro passed away on March 30, 2019.
