Mampintsha later pursued a solo career, releasing his debut album "Gentle Don EP" in 2018. His talent, collaborations, and adaptability solidified his position as a prominent figure in South African music. Tragically, Mampintsha passed away in 2022, after suffering from a minor stroke.
