He co-founded the influential kwaito group Big Nuz in 2002, alongside Mzi Tshomela and the late Sbu Khomo. Despite initial setbacks, they achieved success with their second album, "2nd Round Knockout," selling 20,000 copies and winning the Metro FM award for Best Kwaito. Mampintsha later pursued a solo career, releasing his debut album "Gentle Don EP" in 2018. His talent, collaborations, and adaptability solidified his position as a prominent figure in South African music. Tragically, Mampintsha passed away in 2022, after suffering from a minor stroke.
