Jean Grae, born Tsidi Ibrahim, is a versatile South African-born artist. She grew up in NYC and gained recognition in the late 90s as a member of Natural Resource. Tsidi released her debut album in 2002 and has since released several critically acclaimed albums known for their introspective and socially conscious lyrics. She's also an actress and comedian, having appeared in films and TV shows and performed stand-up comedy. Overall, she is a highly respected artist who continues to push the boundaries of hip-hop.
