He started performing at 18 and studied at Studio 14, then in Paris at CIM and the American School of Modern Music. After returning in 1996, he formed Akoma, Krazz, Pail Coco, Les 5 Éléments, and later Makadanm’. His album Au Feu won the SACEM Prize in 2006. In 2016, he led a tribute to Kali at the Biguine Jazz Festival. He also teaches in schools like AMEP and performs in the “Jédi Mizik” series, keeping biguine alive on stage and in classrooms.
