In the 2021 general election, she was elected to Parliament as the women's representative in Bugweri District for the National Resistance Movement. Magoola’s musical journey started at home, where her father, the late Nicholas Magoola, was a music teacher at several colleges in eastern Uganda. As a young girl, she sang in the church choir and played musical instruments at home. In Senior Two, she was expelled from Tororo Girls School for performing in a band while on a school break.

She has released several successful albums, including "Mais de Mim" (2012), "Galaxia" (2015), and "Fogo e Desejo" (2018). In addition to her music career, Pérola is a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador for Angola and an advocate for children's rights.

He began his musical career as a child in the "One Man, Thousand" band before moving on to play piano in the Wanto Wazuri Band and eventually becoming the lead singer of the Waza Africo Band. He released his debut album, "Highlife Romance," in 1979, and has since released twelve more successful albums, winning numerous awards.
