John Humphrey is an accomplished American drummer, known for his contributions to the rock music genre. Humphrey began playing drums at a young age and went on to study music at the University of Central Oklahoma. In 1990, he joined the alternative rock band the Nixons, and played drums for them until they disbanded in 2000. Humphrey is known for his dynamic and energetic drumming style. He joined Seether in 2003, and has played on all of their studio albums, contributing to the writing and recording of some of their most popular songs. Humphrey continues to tour and record with Seether and has been featured in an interview on moderndrummer.com, discussing his musical journey and drumming techniques.
