Theodore Joël Bakangana, professionally known as Jomiguel, is a Congolese self-taught singer, songwriter, and topliner. Inspired by Westlife, Craig David, and Eminem, his passion for urban music began in childhood. Before music, he was active as a b-boy in a street crew. At age 15, while in secondary school, he started writing lyrics and taught himself to rap and sing, shaping his versatility.
Based in Goma, eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo, Jomiguel has released several songs, including “Je m’ennuie sans toi” and “Make It Tomorrow.” In 2023, he debuted with the 12-track album "THÉRAPIE.
