Bio
Annonciata Mutamuliza, famously known as Kamaliza, was a Rwandan singer and liberation soldier. She got her stage moniker from the title of her song, Kamaliza. In 1990, when the RPA liberation struggle started, Kamaliza left a well-paying job in Burundi to join the liberation war. After a few months at the frontline, she was re-assigned to funds raising for the army. Sadly, after the war, Kamaliza was alleged to be assassinated in a road accident in 1994 while still serving in the RDF army.
