Andriëtte Norman gained recognition when she became the runner-up in the 4th Idols South Africa singing competition in 2007. Following this achievement, she launched her debut album, "Diamant," in 2008.
Her outstanding work earned her a Vonk award in 2008 in the Best Contemporary Female Album category.
