Bio
Kazibwe Kapo (born February 10, 1980, in Uganda’s Central Region) is a respected Kadongo Kamu artist known for his storytelling and traditional sound. He rose to prominence with his 2015 album Emundu and later released singles like “Ndiira Butafa” and “Sigwajajjawo,” along with features on Muzei Tute and Embaga Yomulasi (2024). A private family man, he limits his children’s exposure to fame. Kapo also advocates for copyright reform and takes a strategic approach to performances, valuing genuine demand over publicity. His commitment to heritage and artistic integrity sets him apart in Uganda’s evolving music culture.
