Bio
They once called him “Little Pavarotti”, and for good reason. Kevin Leo, born in Rustenburg in 1971, has spent his career proving that a South African tenor can stand shoulder to shoulder with the world’s best. His journey began in the South African Defence Force’s David Group, a gospel ensemble that performed hundreds of shows each year. While studying theology at the University of Pretoria, he also formed a music ministry, touring nationally and sharpening his craft. Kevin’s debut album, "C’est la Vie" (1995), introduced audiences to his unique crossover style. Since then, he has released around ten albums, including "Voice and Gé - Lied van my Lewe," a moving tribute to Gé Korsten. His repertoire spans opera arias, Neapolitan classics, Afrikaans ballads, gospel, and popular oldies. In addition to music, Kevin Leo has featured in the film Liefling and appeared in TV series like 7de Laan and Binneland.
