Brian Ouko Omollo, professionally known as Khaligraph Jones (or "Papa Jones"), is a prominent Kenyan rapper and songwriter. Born on June 12, 1990, and raised in Kayole, Nairobi, he developed a passion for hip-hop during his youth, recording his first track at age 13. He gained national attention in 2009 after winning the local Channel O Emcee Africa competition.
Known for his rapid-fire flow, command of English and Swahili, and energetic stage presence, Khaligraph became a leading voice in East African music.
His breakthrough hits include "Yego" and "Mazishi," followed by acclaimed albums like “Testimony 1990,” (2018) and “Invisible Currency,” (2022). He also founded Blue Ink Studios and created the Khali Cartel cypher series to highlight emerging talent.
His achievements include winning Best Hip Hop at the 2020 Soundcity MVP Awards and earning a 2020 BET Hip Hop Award nomination for Best International Flow.
