Bio
Khalil Harrison (born Mxolisi Nkosi) is a rising South African Amapiano artist, singer, songwriter, producer, and sound engineer from Nkomazi, Mpumalanga. He discovered his love for music at age 11 and later joined his musically driven family at Kgasi Records. Though he began with R&B and hip-hop in 2015, his pivot to Amapiano became the turning point of his career. His breakthrough came when Tyler ICU welcomed him into Baby Blue Entertainment, opening doors to collaborations with DJ Maphorisa, Kelvin Momo, DBN Gogo, and DJ Oskido. In 2023, he released his debut album Music in My Soul, featuring the standout Angisekho Kuwe with Gaba Cannal and Makhanj. That same year, his single Jealousy earned international buzz, even catching Chris Brown’s attention. By 2025, he cemented his rise with Uzwile Bathini, a seven-track project featuring Tyler ICU, Leemckrazy, and Kelvin Momo, positioning him as one of Amapiano’s most promising global voices.
