Born Jean-Pierre Nimbona but popularly known as Kidum Kibido or simply Kidum, Nimbona is a Burundian singer, songwriter, and leader of Boda Boda, a musical band. He got his artist name, which can be interpreted literally as 20-liter jug, from his mother. Although he started playing drums from an early age, it wasn't until he moved to Nairobi, Kenya, that his musical career kicked off with the release of "Yaramenje."
