Braveman Chizvino Mwanza, now known as King David (formerly Baba Harare), is a Zimbabwean musician whose career has evolved from jiti’s lively beats to gospel. An exceptional guitarist, he spent eight years with Jah Prayzah before launching his solo journey in 2017 with The City Vibration band. His debut album, "Chikwama Changu," gained traction, with the track "The Reason Why" bringing him widespread recognition. Growing up in a family of seven, he picked up the guitar at 13 and refined his talent in sungura bands like Sigma Boys before joining Jah Prayzah’s Third Generation band. In early 2024, while touring Australia, he had a transformative experience during a packed concert that led him to embrace Christianity and transition to gospel music. Now deeply rooted in his faith, King David is committed to using his music to inspire and uplift others.
