He began his journey in 2018 with acoustic songs that shaped his debut project, the Obalanga (Acoustic) EP (2020). The project highlighted his calm delivery and earnest simplicity, marking him as a unique voice in the Ugandan music industry.
Knax has since expanded his sound with singles such as Rubamba (2021), Olinga Mask (2021), Sweet Mama (2022), and Makeup (2025), showing his growth from acoustic roots to more upbeat Afrobeats influences. His songs explore love, culture, and everyday life, balancing intimacy with rhythm.
