Lassana Bagayogo is a tumba player and musician from Mali, and member of the Super Rail Band. He is a master of the tumba, a traditional percussion instrument that is made from a hollowed-out wooden cylinder and played with sticks. Bagayogo is known for his ability to infuse traditional tumba rhythms with contemporary elements, and for his innovative approach to playing the instrument.
