Soweto has long shaped South Africa’s most distinctive voices, and LeeMcKrazy is no exception. Born Linda Mnisi and raised in Diepkloof Zone 5, he began singing in church choirs before balancing football talent as a Mamelodi Sundowns U-21 player with a growing pull toward music. By 2015, he was budding in the Amapiano movement. His breakthrough came with "Eloyi," a collaboration with DJ Jaivane, Sinny Man’Que, and Mashudu that surpassed a million streams and spotlighted his magnetic style. Tracks like "Kwelanga 2.0" and "Ebasini" soon followed, showing his knack for expressive delivery.
In 2024, he released "Intando Ka God 2.0" under Sony Music Africa, an 18-track album featuring collaborations and standout cuts ike "Ukuphuma." With growing recognition, his signature phrase “bare ke Leemecke!” echoes through an expanding fan base. Steady, grounded, and ambitious, LeeMcKrazy has become one of Amapiano’s most reliable voices, carrying Soweto’s spirit to wider audiences.
