Leigh Brendon Barnes is a South African musician and software engineer. He rose to fame as the former bassist and guitarist for Crossingpoint, a well-known South African band. Following his music career, Barnes transitioned into technology and became the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Eight, a software company. In this role, he has led the development of numerous innovative products and solutions, helping the company stay ahead of the industry. He is also a respected fly fisherman who spends his free time exploring the rivers and streams of South Africa.
