Subsequently, Abdou Guite Seck embarked on a musical journey, forming the French-Senegalese band Wock alongside his friends in 1996. As the lead singer of Wock, he made a significant impact, but his solo aspirations led him to part ways with the band in 2002. In the same year, he launched his solo career and released his debut album, "Evolution," along with his newly formed band.
