Bio
Lekan Osifeso Jr, known to the world as Lojay, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist whose work sits at the intersection of afrobeats, afro-house, trap, genge, and alte. Born in Lagos State, Nigeria, with family roots in Ogun State, he was introduced to music through church, where he learned to play the drums and developed the artistic foundation that continues to shape his career. He began pursuing music professionally in 2016 while studying at the University of Portsmouth, graduating in 2018. Lojay has built his presence through a diverse roster of label partnerships and an extensive network of collaborations with Chris Brown, Wizkid, Davido, Fireboy DML, Ayra Starr, Olamide, Jae5, Tyler ICU, Sarz, and others. His work has earned a Grammy nomination, a Headies Award for Best Vocal Performance (Male) for “Billions,” and an NAACP Image Award for "Sensational", positioning him among Nigeria's most decorated and genre-fluid artists.
