BioMarie-Jose Njiba Mbuyi, better known by her stage name MJ30, is a Congolese musician known for her unique style of blending traditional Congolese music with modern pop and electronic sounds.
MJ30 began her music career in 2001 with her self-formed group, Wassa, which she left to join Quartier Latin in 2006, and the following year, Mamu Nationale.
In 2012, she launched her debut album "Mastor" and she went solo the following year.
She has released several albums and tracks and collaborated with A-list musicians such as Fally Pupa, and Ferre Gola.
In 2019, MJ30 announced that she had given her life to Christ and publicly got baptized, indicating a new direction in her music.
MJ30 also advocates for the rights of women and children.
