Bio
Maccasio, whose real name is Sherif Abdul Majeed, is a Ghanaian artist and entrepreneur known for blending hip-hop, hip-life, and Afropop in his music. He raps in his native language, Dagbani, while seamlessly incorporating English and Twi, earning the nickname "Rappers Jack." His rise to fame is rooted in a challenging upbringing, and despite this, his innate talent for entertainment remained undeterred. Maccasio's music journey began with successful albums like "Boussu" (2014) and "Oshihila Nkpe" (2015), followed by a massive crowd of 20,000 at the launch of "Ninsala" in 2017. He aims to raise the profile of Northern music in Ghana and address the underrepresentation of Northern artists, embodying hope and perseverance in his journey.
