Majek Fashek was a Nigerian reggae musician and guitarist. He became popular in the 1980s for his unique blend of African music and reggae. His music addressed social and political issues, and he released several albums, including "Prisoner of Conscience" and "Little Patience". Fashek's career and personal life were affected by drug addiction, which ultimately led to his passing at age 57 on June 1, 2020. Despite this, he left a lasting legacy as one of Nigeria's most influential musicians.
