    Bimi Ombale was a renowned Congolese singer, drummer, and songwriter who began his musical journey in 1969 with the Zaiko music group. Despite opposition, he joined Tabou National but returned to Zaiko after a while. Ombale focused on songwriting and released his first hit, "Joliba," in 1971.
