Mamadou Ouédraogo is a Malian musician, singer , saxophonist, and ngoni player. He is a master of the ngoni, a traditional lute-like instrument that is played in West Africa. He is known for his ability to infuse traditional ngoni rhythms with contemporary elements, and for his innovative approach to playing the instrument. He is considered as one of the most respected and recognized ngoni players in Mali and the African continent.
