BioManfred Sepse Lubowitz, also known as Manfred Mann, is a South African-born British musician, composer, band leader, and co-label owner, Bronze Records label.
He formed the band Manfred Mann in 1962, known for hits such as "Do Wah Diddy Diddy" and "Pretty Flamingo".
He later formed another band, Earth Band, known for progressive rock.
Mann also composed music for film and TV.
Mann has had a lasting impact on British music, and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1991.
