    Jeeba Abdn, whose real name is Djibril Ba, born in Thiès, is a Senegalese songwriter and singer. He develops music called “Jolofbeats” (Senegalese rhythms), afro-trap sounds given by sabar drums, pop, R&B, soul, and even neo-soul. He grew up listening to Senegalese music classics, including Baaba Maal and Youssou N’Dour. Later, he began to write his first songs, which he performed during the Fosco (end-of-year balls in Senegal). He later joined a Galsen rap group (Senegalese afro-rap) before concentrating on his university studies. Subsequently, he embarked on a solo career by creating the Abadane Daiman label in 2017.
