Adewale Mayowa Emmanuel, professionally known as Mayorkun, is a Nigerian musician, singer-songwriter, and pianist. Though he loved music from a young age, Mayorkun didn't pursue a career in it until after obtaining a university degree and some years as a banker. He rose to prominence in 2016 with his debut single "Eleko". He's known for his smooth and soulful voice, as well as his energetic performances and unique style. Mayorkun is signed to Davido's record label, DMW, and has since released several hit songs.
