Samuel Adu Frimpong, professionally known by his stage name Medikal, is a Ghanaian hip pop musician/ rap artist and member of Arab Money Gang (AMG) records. His interest in music especially rap started at a young age with him experimenting lyrics related to the medical profession. Though his music career started in 2014, his major break was in 2017 receiving highest nominations at the 2017 Ghana Music Awards. Medikal was christened with his musical moniker in secondary school by his school father.
