BioMick Rogers, born Michael Oldroyd, is a renowned British rock guitarist and singer-songwriter.
He is best known for his tenure with Manfred Mann's Earth Band. Growing up in a musical family, Rogers was exposed to jazz and rock and roll at a young age, setting the stage for his musical journey.
In 1971, he joined Manfred Mann's Earth Band, but creative differences led to his departure in 1975.
Following this, Rogers briefly returned to Australia before forming the band Aviator in the UK, resulting in the release of two albums.
In 1984, he made a comeback with the Earth Band, sharing vocal and guitar responsibilities with Chris Thompson.
Alongside his band commitments, Rogers pursued a solo career with a varied reception of his albums.
