Mohammed Ahidjo was a Nigerian musician and member of the famous afro-rock band, The Funkees. He began his musical career as a singer and percussionist in the late 1960s. He joined The Funkees band in the early 1970s and quickly established himself as a key member of the group. Ahidjo stayed with the band till the end of their journey and his singing and percussion skills were greatly appreciated by the audiences.
