Morell, whose real name is Musa Akilah, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter who developed a strong passion for rap music while growing up. He drew inspiration from well-known rap artists and was initially criticized by his friend Blast for his rapping skills. However, his talent was soon discovered, and he made his official debut in the music scene in 2007 through a collaboration with Rugged Man on the album "Move Something". A few months later, he teamed up with Naeto C, which further established him as a rising star in the industry. Morell primarily raps in Hausa, a language mainly spoken in Northern Nigeria. Additionally, he is a devout Muslim, and his faith plays a significant role in his life and music.
