Mpumelelo Mcata, or Mpumi, is a South African artist, filmmaker, and musician. He's best known as the guitarist and co-founder of the popular South African rock band, BLK JKS. In addition to his work with BLK JKS, Mpumi has also been involved in a variety of other creative projects. He has worked as a filmmaker and visual artist, and has collaborated with musicians from a variety of genres. Besides his music career, Mpumi advocates for creative education for young people in South Africa.
